REVIEW: Unforgettable by Melanie Harlow

Writer's picture: KOKO

I was beyond excited to see the advanced copy of Unforgettable hit my kindle, thanks to Social Butterfly PR and Melanie Harlow. I'm a huge fan of the Cloverleigh Farms series and although each storyline is connected to Cloverleigh Farms in some way, Melanie Harlow has done fantastic job of creating a unique storyline in each standalone.

Unforgettable is the final standalone novel in the series and it did not disappoint. If you have followed me for even the shortest of time, you've probably noticed that I'm a sucker for second chance romances and baseball players...well, really any sort of sports player! Unforgettable has both, wrapped up in a web of emotions.

This second chance romance follows Tyler, a once hot shot baseball player who has fallen off the throne due to the yips, a very real phenomena in sports! Tyler comes out of hiding to return to Cloverleigh Farms for his sister's wedding and what's supposed to be a quick trip turns into an extended stay. After running into a ghost from his past, Tyler just can't get April off of his mind and that past they have...it includes an accidental pregnancy. The chemistry between Tyler and April is still off the charts years later, but can they handle the curveball life is about to throw?

Told from both April and Tyler's point of view, I enjoyed seeing both characters' differing perspectives and reactions to an experience they share. Harlow writes Tyler and April's emotion with such raw openness, that I was brought to tears on more than one occasion. My five star rating was locked in when a twist was thrown in that I most definitely did not see coming and it was done in such a flawless way, that I don't think anyone could have guessed!

Fans of romance, Unforgettable is a must read!
